Helga Apartman - Mako

We got great value for our money at Helga Apartman. The room was clean, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities. The location was quiet, with safe parking in the yard. The staff treated us like family, providing helpful information and even offering discounted tickets for the thermal baths.

The morning meal could have been better with more variety or options.

We had a great experience staying at Helga Apartman in Mako. the hosts, Mr and Mrs Helga, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even allowing us to check in late in the evening. the apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. the beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. the location of the apartment was convenient, with on-street parking available and a secure courtyard for our car. the copious breakfast provided was delicious, fueling us for the day ahead. the highlight of our stay was visiting the sensational Hagymatikum Baths, which were just a short distance away.

I had an incredible stay at Helga Apartman in Mako. When I arrived, Helga and her husband warmly welcomed me with refreshing local drinks and provided me with all the information I needed. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was absolutely perfect. the apartment was well, located, just a short 4, 5 minute walk from the amazing Hagymatikum baths. Everything I needed was conveniently just 3, 5 minutes away. I cannot wait to return with my family and experience this wonderful accommodation again. Thank you Helga for everything you did to make my stay unforgettable. Cons: Nothing not to love! 💕.

our second stay in mako was even better than the first. helga apartman exceeded our expectations with their friendly staff, clean and spacious apartment, and convenient location. we loved the complimentary drinks upon arrival and the discount tickets for the thermal baths. highly recommend!

no mini fridge

Convenient location with a grocery store and bar nearby, great for my evening wine and midnight snacks. Enjoyed cycling and hiking in the area. Free WiFi and parking made life much easier. The kitchen was well-equipped, perfect for whipping up a quick meal. Cons: Oh, what a shame, no card payment accepted! But hey, who needs convenience in this day and age?

The location is great as it is next to the highway, making it easy to find and convenient for a break during a long journey. The rooms are big, clean, and have comfortable beds, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom is also clean and well-maintained. The hosts are friendly and offer free drinks and refreshments, adding to the enjoyable stay.

The noise from the rooster at the neighboring property disturbed the sleep and was a bit inconvenient.
